Story: The movie follows ghost hunting Tantriks — brothers Vibhooti (Saif Ali Khan) and Chiraunji (Arjun Kapoor), who are employed to capture a demon that has allegedly haunted a tea property in the exceptional hills of Himachal.
Review: The tea estate is owned with the aid of the sisters Maya (Yami Gautam) and Kanu (Jacqueline Fernandez). Vibhooti’s career goals include women (any kind is my type, he says) and money. The setting and idea, grasp your interest at the outset. Saif Ali Khan talking an unknown village dialect with an anglicised accent, in that special Saif voice is unintentionally funny. His knack of going for unheroic characters, off the crushed song is admirable. But intent and attempt can be amusing to a point. His overall performance leaves you conflicted here. He comes across as an extraordinary combine of trying too tough to be humorous and not making an attempt at all to be invested in his character. Arjun and Yami are sincere, the only actors to have understood the assignment. Jacqueline and Saif seem more like tourists in Dharamshala, who selected to act in this movie as a pastime.
Stree was a nice instance of merging factors of horror and comedy except making both look frivolous. Bhoot Police hopes to mock the dhongi babas who dupe people. It hopes to mock superstitions and blind faith and subsequently name callings its very own premise. The story isn’t an difficulty as tons as the inconsistent idea at the back of it.
