Mac Miller’s family, friends, and fans continue to keep his memory and legacy alive as the four-year anniversary of his unfortunate passing quickly approaches. As the case surrounding his death proceeds, one man has been sentenced for his role in the rapper’s death.

According to the Associated Press, last year Ryan Michael Reavis pleaded guilty to a single count of distribution of fentanyl. A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles has confirmed that he was sentenced to 131-months in prison earlier this week.

In a plea agreement, prosecutors say Reavis intentionally supplied counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl to co-defendant Cameron James Pettit, who then sold the drugs to Mac Miller, who unfortunately passed two days later after suffering from an overdose.

As previously reported, last October, Stephen Andrew Walter, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl. Prosecutors say, Walter, directed Reavis to distribute the drugs to Pettit, who then sold the drugs to Mac. Walter is scheduled to be sentenced for his role in the incident on May 16th. The case against Pettit is currently pending.

Back in September 2018, Mac Miller was found unresponsive at his home and pronounced deceased at the scene. He was only 26-years-old.

Mac’s sixth and final studio album “Circles,” which was the project he had been working on at the time of his passing, was released back in 2020.
