Floyd Mayweather Shares A Message To His Grandson While Speaking About His Successful Journey In Boxing

There is no doubt that Floyd Mayweather is a proud grandfather, and it looks like his grandson KJ has taken a liking to his grandfather’s profession.

Recently Floyd took to Instagram to share a video of his grandson, and daughter Yaya Mayweather, who is KJ’s mother. In the video, both Yaya and KJ are seen watching as Floyd does his thing in the boxing ring.

In his caption, Floyd says,

“Grandson, I’m very thankful for your great Granddad teaching me the sweet science of boxing, to hit and not get hit. I believe in working smarter, not harder. I retired from the sport undefeated with all my accolades and on my own terms. Even in retirement, I’m still able to milk the game of boxing, continuing to make 8 figures or more.”

Although retired from the sport, Floyd made it clear that he will still make money from boxing. He continued to say,

“If Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, and the Waltons continue making money in their 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, then I’m not retiring from making money and I’m younger than all of them.”

He ended his message by saying, “DON’T GET MAD, THIS IS WHAT GOD WANTED.”

As many of you know, KJ’s father is rapper NBA YoungBoy. Back in February, Floyd appeared on “The Pivot,” podcast and shared how proud he was of his daughter and NBA YoungBoy.

He said, “I’m proud of him…I’m proud of my daughter, and I only want the best for NBA YoungBoy, and I’m gonna continue to push him and push her. I want both of them to be great. My grandson, I love him.”
