Congratulations are in order for Shemar Moore and his girlfriend Jesiree Dizon. Moore took to Instagram on Monday to share that he is expecting his first child with Dizon. And to also reveal the baby’s gender.

Moore shared a few words with viewers at the beginning of the clip.
Today is the day. You know your boy’s got butterflies… Today is a special day. This is a legendary day. Today, your boy Shemar Motherf****g Moore… is going to find out if he’s going to be a daddy to a little girl or a little boy.
The 52-year-old also shared a sweet caption as he shared the video on Instagram.

Moore And Dizon Are Expecting A Baby Girl!
A helicopter flying over the gathering confirmed that the couple is expecting a baby girl. And the newborn’s name will be Frankie, as reported by PageSix.
According to Moore, she is due on February 8, which is the same day that his mother unfortunately passed. The actor also addressed her passing during an interview earlier this week with Jennifer Hudson.
My mother is in heaven right now. It’ll be the three-year anniversary on February 8 and on February 8, I’m gonna make one of her dreams come true because in real life Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy…
Moore then revealed that he was worried having a child may have never happened for him.
I’m sorry she can’t be here. I was worried for a while that maybe that ship had sailed…
The Criminal Minds actor added that his life has been “pretty grand.” But he is sure that fatherhood is going to be “the best” experience.
“My life is pretty grand, but I know whenever God does call my name once I get this experience, I’ll be able to go to heaven whole.”
Moore’s girlfriend Jesiree Dizon has two children, a boy, and a girl, from two previous relationships.
