Adriana Sylmetaj Was Excited To Be A Mother, Brother Says
A registry at Buy Buy Baby under the names of Nikeziq and Sylmetaj indicates they were expecting a baby girl on April 12th. Medical professionals unfortunately could not save the unborn child after the car accident.
“She was excited when she learned she was going to be a mother. It was something new to her. She couldn’t wait to see the baby born,” her brother, Al Sylmetaj, told the Daily News.
“They were thinking on names but I don’t think they came to any decision. … They were planning on a baby shower.”
Adriana Sylmetaj was originally from Brooklyn but had graduated from New Dorp High School in Staten Island and was previously enrolled at College of Staten Island, per her Facebook page. Her employment history includes working at Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital South and NYU Langone Health, as stated in her profile.
